tumblr thursday vol. 18 + a conversation that happened last night during a particular movie trailer

conversation that occurred last night: 


*The Dark Knight Rises trailer comes on tv* 
Mom: *calls my name* 
*silence*
Mom: can you go get your phone?
Me: hold...on....
*trailer ends* 
Me: *comes back to reality and runs to go get phone*

and they said "coming to theaters July 20th" and I said out loud, "WE KNOW I KNOW EVERYONE KNOWS" ;) I'm so excited for this movie you guys. The legend is coming to an end. and its going to be epic. I had seen the trailer a few nights ago and I was just like "oh my goshhh I cannot wait I cannot wait" 

so obviously, I'm SO SO excited for it ;) 

I hope you all are having a good week! I've been busy with babysitting, working out(I ran 2 miles on tuesday night! no excuses.) and getting ready for our trip. we are leaving at 5am on saturday morning :/ I'm going armed with music, books and movies and a pillow and blanket for sleep ;) (which i will hopefully be doing a lot of). 

well I'm off to do some more stuff on my 'to do' list ;)

monday.

those are some shots from my monday so far. its gorgeous out...the air is off and windows open! its so sunny and breezy :) We are leaving this weekend to spend a week visiting family about 10 and 8 hours away so I'm slowly getting this together and ready for that and checking things off my To Do list. packing my clothes stress me out, anyone else? I can pack food, electronics and everything else fine but i'm always rechecking and making sure I have enough clothes and if I have that one favorite tank or have enough socks ;)
and that soup... Cheese Potato Broccoli soup to be exact. yum yum YUM.

one of the things on my To Do list is to take my little sister to go see Brave tomorrow! I'm so excited! She's only been to the theaters once before and I know she will be thrilled when I tell her plus I'm looking forward to seeing the movie too ;)

just popping in to say that i might be a little mia for a while. there's a lot going on right now and blogging is going to be on the back burner. my great grandfather passed away this morning and so sometime this week we will be making an 8 hour trip to the funeral and such. then next week our friends are coming for spring break which i am SO pumped for. so the rest of this week will be tiring and a bit stressful. but it is what it is. i wanted to schedule picture posts of India from my mom's trip during next week but i'm not sure if that will happen. also, I've been feeling pretty crummy the past week or so. prayers would be appreciated.

real quick, in other news, I finished reading The Hunger Games. oh my word. LOVE IT. so much! I'm on Catching Fire and can't put it down!! I'm so excited to see the movie next week with my friends. I'll post more about that later. along with that, i haven't been on my tumblr dashboard because of all the movie spoilers!! i won't get back on till after i see it, i think i should get an award. i've gotten on my dashboard since sunday afternoon. i'm still posting a little bit and its spoiler free! ;)

this was one of my favorite parts of our trip! It was a small little farmer's market and the fruit and vegetable colors were vibrant and I really like how the pictures came out. :)

 

oh and there was pink and green themed farm across the road. topped off with polka dots.

so much to blog so little time! {& around the farm:part two}

 hey friends!

i've had a bad sinus infection this week and my head, ears and throat have been bothering me really bad :/ which puts a damper on trying to get things done like...um...school. and being in a good mood overall. thus tea, cough drops, tissues and such have been following me around ;)

Also, as I was looking through pictures earlier i realized how much i still have yet to blog about! I've got some post "topics" and such in my head and hopefully i can get 'em out on here ;)

i love my great-grandparent's land. my great-grandfather hasn't be able to take care of it for a few years now and now my great aunt and uncles and cousins help run it.

remember when my family and I went to visit our family this past summer? and i said I'd taken tons of photos and I'd share them. well here it is November and i'm just now posting them.{ but I do have a feeling like i've already posted these but I couldn't find a post so oh well}. anyway, here is part one of pictures i took around the farm! enjoy!
