mama and currently

if you stalk follow me on twitter, instagram or facebook then you know what happened to my mom/family on monday. short story: my mom herniated a disc in her back around 7am. thankfully my dad was still home and was able to be with her and call the squad. it was a rough morning to say the least. mom has a dr. appt on friday to see if she needs surgery or if physical therapy will heal it. Right now, mom is confined to bed/couch and can't lift more than 2 lbs. Its going to be a long few weeks but we''ll make it! We are so thankful for friends and family who have been praying and helping with my siblings, rides and meals.

Loving: this is going to be original: the fall weather. hoodie weather. boot weather. tea and coffee dates.  sweatpants. cold mornings.

Reading: I read this last night and it was so encouraging: Ephesians 3:14-19

For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

Watching: Downton Abbey baby. I'm rewatching it and I'm in Season 2. that show is so.good. like its gorgeous good.

Anticipating: the 3rd Doctor Who episode this saturday.

Listening to: rain steadily falling outside and this.

Planning: to do my writing paper in a few mins and watch Downton Abbey later tonight ;)

Working on: relying on God for strength and my anchor.

Wishing: that I didn't feel so bad.
