New Template and the Saga

How do you all like my new layout?! I love having a side bar on each sides of my blog!! It makes it look much more fun and full! I'll be working on putting more stuff on my sidebars but right now I think I have everything on here that I had before. Don't forget to vote at the poll on my right sidebar about my new look! :)
About our computer- we had a friend come over yesterday and look at it and remove the viruses and all the bad stuff but this afternoon when I was chatting with a friend and doing some things on here the blue screen of death appeared! ahhh!! but i just restarted it and it seems to be working ok. I'm praying that it keeps running fine and we won't have to spend a lot of money to fix it or anything.
I had a terrible headache this morning, I've been having them for a couple weeks now :( I've tried medicines and getting enough rest but they just don't seem to be going away :( So today my mom said today that I should try putting an ice pack on my forehead ( Most of the pain is in my forehead) and ya know what?! It helped A LOT! My mom also said that some people who have migraines put ice packs and heat packs on their heads. Man, the things I learn from my mom! :D
I've been meaning to share with you all my ohhh I don't know what to call it... i guess "sickness" even though the doctors haven't really said its a "sickness". We'll just call it that. lol :)
Christmas 2009 my family and I all got the stomach flu on Christmas DAY!!! It was horrible! We barely had the strength to open gifts! After that I never really felt good- headaches, low temps, ear aches, stomach aches, body aches ( basically everything you could think of!) , the rest of my family recovered fine. I think it was in the early Spring when my mom took me to the doctor and finally they said that I had Mono( you can go here to find out what it is) and to try to get plenty of rest, eat healthy, and exercise. So I did and during the summer I played soccer and overall I felt really good! It was the first time i had felt really good since before Christmas. I thought that I was over it and it was gone but then in October I started feeling pretty bad again- headaches, ear aches, the same things I had in the Winter/Spring . We went to the doctor again, she said that I was very low in Vitamin D( so I have a Vit D pill that I take every month) and finally we went to a Infectious or Internal ( I can't remember which! it was a while ago!) Disease doctor( just in November I think) and he said that because my symptoms are so different and they aren't really consistent that they can't really say its this or that so he said that whatever I have should just go away in the next weeks or months. So there are some days where I feel ok or others when I feel just horrible. It gets pretty frustrating and tiring and I'm learning to lean on God for strength to get up in the morning and get done what I need to get done. Nights are better than mornings so sometimes I'll wait to do my school until the evening. I love homeschooling because you can do that!! :) Sorry for the long saga! I just wanted to tell you all so that you don't wonder why I keep saying I don't feel good or I have a headache :) I'd greatly appreciate prayers! It gets very hard but I know with God I can move mountains! :) This song and bible verses reminds me of that:

5May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, 6so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 15:5-6

11being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully.
Col. 1:11

Everybody falls sometimes
You gotta find the strength to rise
From the ashes and make a new beginning
Anyone can feel the ache
You think it’s more than you can take
But you’re stronger, stronger than you know

And don’t you give up now
The sun will soon be shining
You gotta face the clouds
To find the silver lining

I’ve seen dreams that move the mountains
Hope that doesn’t ever end
Even when the sky is falling
I’ve seen miracles just happen
Silent prayers get answered
Broken hearts become brand new
That’s what faith can do

It doesn’t matter what you’ve heard
Impossible is not a word
It’s just a reason for someone not to try
Everybody’s scared to death
You may decide to take that step
Out on the water
But it’ll be all right

Life is so much more
Than what your eyes are seeing
You will find your way
If you keep believing

Overcome the odds
When you don’t have a chance
(That’s what faith can do)
When the world says you can’t
It will tell you that it can

(Repeat Chorus)
What Faith Can Do by Kutless

  1. So sorry to hear about your headaches. My Mom get the worst migraines (has since she was a teen) and she finds it help to have a cup of coffee or something with caffine in the morning. Also try wearing socks and putting an icepack on your head. My pa finds that helps with his migraines.

Sorry about being sick on Christmas too! My whole family got sick the day after Christmas, and are just now getting better. sigh, and so it goes!

    Love,

    Nana
