Day 1-a favorite song

As most of you know, its really difficult for me to pick just ONE song! but I will try. *determined look on face*
this is a song that I will never get tired of hearing. its by a group that will always be loved and remembered by millions. they were an extraordinary group and they've imprinted Christian music forever. its a song that causes us to stop, think and not be afraid to say, "I don't really care if they label me as a Jesus Freak, there ain't no disguising the truth"  {i found a dcTalk shirt at a goodwill for a few bucks, score! ;) it says "freak for life" on the front and " Jesus Freak" on the back :) i just love it, I'll try to post some pics of it sometime}

Day 2- a favorite movie

oh here we go again! im so bad at just choosing one! :/
I really really love The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. Its my favorite Narnia movie. Even though PC and VDT are really good, nothing can beat the first one :)  its such a wonderful movie: fantastic storyline, great actors, beautiful scenery, awesome battles between good and evil and of course Aslan ;) . its a reminder of what Christ did for us and how we are fighting in the battle against the world. and with Christ we can have victory! I especially like watching it in the winter :)

I love that I can request items on my library website and I can go to the library and they are right there waiting for. seriously. i.love.it.

 I cannot stand heavy metal music. really any hard rock for that matter. Skillet is as heavy rock as i get.

I've gotten into this show called Larkrise to Candleford.

go ahead and call me old fashioned or a weirdo but I love shows and movies set around that time period(like Cranford, Emma etc.) Most of today's shows are just so messed up and I'd much rather watch something like this.There a 4 seasons and I'm borrowing them from the library. its a perfect show for the winter ;)

I really love photography. I'm saving up my money and I can't wait to get my hands on a camera like this:

I would love to travel, especially to New Zealand, Canada and England and photograph it. 
five. 
 I really hate the abbreviation Xmas. I can hardly type it. I can't it out loud, literally I can't make myself say it. I love the word Christmas. it has so much meaning and specialness. Xmas just doesn't make me feel the same way. So you are warned. please please don't say Xmas on my blog. please do not.
six.
There are some really fabulous giveaways going on! I will tell you more about them in a minute.

seven. 
I honestly and seriously don't like swimming or really getting in water. I'm not afraid or anything. it just doesn't interest me. even during the summer I'd take sitting in the 95 degree and dipping my feet in the pool than actually getting in. I know I'm weird like that.

1. If you could marry any male book character, who would it be? I don't mean to copy you Hope.. I guess great minds think alike ;) I would marry Mr. Knightly. He has good character and discernment, he's mature, and has a good sense of humor ( which i love anyone who has that ;).




2. What book character is the closest to your personality?  oh that's a hard one.. probably Susan from Narnia ( i explain why in another answer to the same question :)


3. What is your favorite Disney movie? hmm... thats a hard one! I love Finding Nemo!

lots of things

I'm so sorry for neglecting my blog. we've been busy. i've been busy. life has kept me busy. and because i've been busy I've decided that I can't blog as often as I'd like to. I have lots of school work to do and I need to have the least amount of other things to do! So I will probably post about 1 or twice a week if that instead of like 3 or 4 times. Maybe when I get more in the rhythm of school I can blog more but for now I can't. I will still get on and read blogs and comment :)

hmmm... something that's going on in my life right. soccer!! my team is undefeated and our last game in on Tuesday. I'll miss playing it and seeing my teammates. Every year I strive to love my teammates ( not a romantic love mind you, a Christ-like love) and not ignore or treat someone badly because of their size, ability, or race which is not something a lot fo people try to do! but we need to try. they're are people around us that are lonely and hurt because someone has neglected them because they are different. I try to make sure that doesn't happen to people when im around them :) anyway, i kinda got distracted off the subject.. umm what was the subject of this part? oh yeah soccer ;) so i was saying that i will miss playing soccer dearly, even the running in 90 degree weather and sweating buckets ;)Soccer is a great motivator for me during the year to get in shape so I can play hardest and my best. and its a good way to meet other kids who love soccer and have fun playing it together! but I'm kinda glad its going to be over so I can have more time for school and other things that I need to do :)

Last but not least, thank you SO much Anna Gray, Shaynie, Sierra, and Annie who left comments saying that they were praying for Mrs. V and her family. Please continue to pray for her husband and kids as they adjust to life without her. thanks again!

I have a lot of catching up to do in the blogging world!
first I'm just going to say that you know those days where just little frustrating things happen and you just wanna pull your hair out or run away to another country because you are so done??!! I had one of those yesterday....(I wasn't feeling well at all which didn't help anything) like I accidentally squirted Germ-X into my cup of water( please don't ask me how that happened) and spilled my water bottle all over the kitchen floor and myself right before we went to a friends house to watch a movie. There was some more things but I can't think of them right now, I probably blocked them out of my memory ;) yeah it was one of those days when I wanted to go to New Zealand. but it did get better :) around 7:30 or so my mom and I went to go watch Love's Enduring Promise and Love's Long Journey with a dear friend and her daughters! It was nice to relax and watch a good love story :)


I just love those movies!!

Day 20 — A hobby of yours- soccer!

Day 21 (today) — A Recipe-
I copied this recipe from Sarahlynn's blog, I think my mom made them a few times... they were really good!!

Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Muffins
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
16 oz pumpkin from can
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup applesauce
3 cups flour
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Mix eggs, sugar, pumpkin, oil, applesauce until smooth. Mix flour, powder, soda, cinnamon, salt in a different bowl. Add slowly to wet ingredients. Fold in chocolate chips. Fill muffin cups 3/4 full.
Bake at 375, for 20 minutes.
