I don't know about you but i'm done with summer. its been hot. too hot. too hot for too long. the kind of hot that sucks up all of your energy and leaves you tired and sweaty. the summer months, June, July and August seemed like they flew by but also seemed to drag on and on. I think the heat was a part of the dragging on and on part. Now that's its September, everyone thought it would be a little cooler but no. We started the month off with a heat advisory. lovely.
i'm a fall kinda girl. i'd rather be cold then hot. my favorite outfit is jeans, boots and sweatshirt.

random post...cuz I feel like blogging about random things.

hey! just thought i'd do a post blogging about some random things and hopefully it will take my mind of my headache that i've had since last sunday/monday that won't go away even though i'm resting, drinking, moving, eating, sleeping that i'm supposed to. is <--- that a run on sentence? yeah I think it is. ;)

 this is how i feel about this headache. 

+at the beginning of the summer, my dad, sibs and I were wandering around yard sales on saturday and I wasn't finding any good finds and then i found this for $2 at the last sale we went to.

yep. it looked like it had just been bought and watched once or twice. for 2 bucks. i was happy. :)


+i'm really looking forward to football.  I miss crashing on the couch after church and cheering for
my team :)

i struggle with comparing myself to other bloggers. i think we all do. so and so gets more comments than me or so and so have more followers or so and so's posts are so much more enjoyable. i let those thoughts and more steal my joy for blogging. blogging is a place where i can be myself and share my thoughts about life. it should be a joy. share your heart and blog about what you want to. don't base your blog on what others want or what you think will get you the most comments. just be you and people will come :)

 + my team and i won our first game on saturday! it was hot{we were in the direct sun. no shade} and were really tired afterwards but we did it :) Now that we have our first game under our cleats ;) i'm looking forward to future practices/games.
Though, the 4th quarter, I had to sit out because my head had starting getting worse with the pain. it really put a dent in my playing. I have a game tomorrow and I'm hoping I can give it my all. That the pain won't be too overbearing.

wait! what? its july?! lets start off the month with some tunes :]

seriously, when did become JULY?! just where has the all time gone? sweet nibblets.

Our AC is fixed!! Long story short, it got fixed a lot sooner that we thought and we didn't pay a fortune. Praise the Lord! :)

Catch up sunday : )

Michelle's Summer Bash Party ended a few days ago but I'm a little behind so here's my last few days!

Day 25 — Your day, in great detail- well this morning I woke up ( unwillingly ;) and got ready for church and my family and I managed to get into a seat a few minutes before the service began! we usually are really late! Then we went to a restaurant and go some food to go, came home, ate our lunch, my little brother and sister got in the pool and I watched some tv, took a little nap :D, got some dinner and here I am now! :)

Day 26 — Your week, in great detail- hmm.. this week, we babysat kids everyday except for Wednesday because on Wednesday my dad was off and we went to an amusement park! it was pretty fun but i discovered that roller coasters make me feel very very sick! :( On Tuesday I had a soccer game ( we won :) and on Thursday I had soccer practice. Saturday I wasn't feeling well at all so I just rested and watched Dr. Quinn and then I cleaned my room later that day. I think that's it!


Day 27 — This month, in great detail- not really sure how to answer this but I'll just tell you the big things that have started this month :) Soccer started this month so that was a pretty big thing and we are slowly getting ready for school and we started babysitting kids more often.

Day 28 — This year, in great detail- I got my itouch!! I've made some new friends, went to my first fair, went to visit one of my dearest friends to celebrate her birthday and went to an amazingly awesome Switchfoot concert!! (that's all the big things I can think of)

Day 29 — Hopes, dreams and plans for the next 365 days- Grow in my walk with Christ, continue to learn to give my life over to him, become closer to my friends and family, play hard and be a better player at soccer, and be a testimony of Christ to my teammates, be diligent and do well in school and do my best and be able to earn the money for a camera and purchase it! :)

I'm doing an embarrassing moment:

Ok it was my first Sunday in the 6th grade youth group at my Church and at the end while the leader was praying and it was really quiet of course and my throat made this really weird and loud sound and I'm sure everybody heard it and a older girl in the class looked at me and laugh, yeah it was kinda embarrassing and for my first day in the 6th grade class ;) and to this day the other girl and I kinda stay out of each others way ;)

Last but defintly not least, I want to tell you about this very special girl Emily

If you haven't read her blog I strongly encourage you to! She is 16, lives in England ( which I think is so cool!) and has leukemia. Her spirit is so sweet and her faith and love for Christ is beautiful! Please pray for her and go over to her blog, drop her a comment to let her know she has family in Christ praying for her :)

my mom and I just got some Jillian Michael work out DVDs in the mail from Amazon!! I borrowed The 30 day Shred from the library, I did it everything other day and I loved it! but then I had to take it back so then my mom just bought it and 2 other dvds :) I'm working on losing some weight and getting fit :) with the 30 day shred I saw results within 1-2 days of doing it. Sure I felt like I wasn't going to make it or that i couldn't do one more push up to save my life ;P but I'm determined to stick with it and shred this weight by the end of the summer :)

I know I said I probably wouldn't be posting while we are visiting our family but I am and I can because its my blog so I can! ;)
Aside from some back pain and leg cramps the drive here wasn't bad ;) My siblings were patient and were pretty much content as long as they had a show to watch or something to listen to :) I did sneak in a Dr. Quinn movie when they were sleeping! ;)
Its hot right now. I mean really hot. Like 94 degrees hot. Needless to say we are inside enjoying the nice air conditioning, tv and internet ;) Whats the weather like where you all are?? If the temperature is lower than 70 degrees than I'm jealous :) Tonight my mom is going out with some friends and then tomorrow night we all are going to my Aunt S's house to have a picnic :)
