Tom is nervous about visiting the Hemsworth baby because when he saw this photo: 

He totally thought it was a photo of Chris with a mondo burrito.

And now he’s afraid he’ll accidentally say something.

2 things: 1) so my friend and I decided that its not particularly that the baby is super small, its that Chris is super huge. i mean, look at his hands! 2) that baby girl is so beautiful. I know it for sure even though I haven't seen her face. and while I really want to see it, I respect Chris and Elsa for protecting/guarding her :)

Friday Favorite: NOW

Fireflight's new album NOW. I haven't listened to them in a long while, too long. I first heard 'Stay Close' on Air1 and a few days later bought it. It was actually during a rough day when I heard it, so awesome how God works that stuff out ;)
As I write this I am listening to other songs on the album. good stuff.

can i just say that this lady is stunning and her voice is amazing?!

who really had the idea of tumblr? {sick and catching up}

Ah! I've been away from this blog for too long! I was sick with an awful sinus infection and it totally drained me and knocked me out. So there was no blogging happening. I couldn't even get school done or hardly get out of bed. Now most of my family is sick with colds. :/ thankfully I'm mostly over the sinus ick but I still have the terrible headache that still makes me feel really bad. how was your week? :)
I missed doing Tumblr Thursday and Friday Favorites so I'm gonna mix both of those into this post ;)

First off- football. that packers game. really?? that was horrible. shameful actually. only lost 1 game in the season and then that. dad thinks they were paid off or something because that was not packers playing. Now I am forced to cheer for the Patriots. *sigh*

 Saw this movie with my mom, a friend and her mom last night. it is sad but very good. very good.

Friday Favorite- Robin Hood. 

Thanks to Sky for strongly urging me to watch this show, its a new favorite. and I'm only the 4th episode. I love shows like these. I love the values and lessons, the characters, the humor, the friendships, the loyalty, you get the idea.

Friday Favorites: from the week

happy friday people!

I'm having a hard day :/ i still have a really terrible headache and i'm having trouble getting school done and such and thus I am a bit discouraged and just...ugh feeling. trying to get keep going...

anywho, here are some random favorites from the week! :)

 this is so me sometimes. ;]

War Horse.

my mom and i went to see this on monday night and it was SO good. The acting was fantastic, the action, scenes, plot/story and time period was awesome. One of my things that I enjoyed about it was that is was believable and real. It wasn't too fantasy-ish. and I loved Tom Hiddleston in it, i really like his acting.  he was one of my favorite characters even though he{and a lot of other characters} didn't have a lot of screen time.

thanksgiving & Christmas and some friday favorites

hope you all are having a good friday night! it made smile to read the comments on my last post knowing i have some sundtrack loving soul sisters out there ;)

 when did thanksgiving just happen to be less than 1 week away already?! really. and please don't start even start about Christmas quite yet{which is only around 36 days away! but still.} . i LOVE Christmas. love it. and I really want to savor the time and enjoy. after Thanksgiving. It seems like every year thanksgiving keeps getting pushed further and further back on every one's burner. its all about Christmas. yes while it is super special, thanksgving is too. its a day set aside to specifically thank God for the many things He's given us. Let me dwell on that for a little while then after thanksgiving i'll join in all the Christmas cheer and fun ;) anywho, those are my thoughts. What do you think about all this thanksgiving/Christmas jazz?

nobody knows that it took to believe. [Soul Surfer and other randoms]

Happy Friday friends!

 isn't that just a lovely saying right there?! "happy friday....".  well I've been ready for today since Monday ;) I haven't been feeling very good this whole week starting on sunday and I babysat the past 2 days and I'm ready for some down time. How was YOUR week?

Okay so a lot of you are wondering what I thought about Soul Surfer. Here's my two cents-- Bethany Hamilton's story is amazing and inspiring so it made for a good and inspiring movie. The actors did a really nice job and for Carrie Underwood’s first movie, she did pretty well! My only "downside" was that it didn't have a super strong "Christian" message like I thought it would have. Sure there were mentions of God and a few verses but not like I expected. And the other thing is that they didn't focus a lot on Bethany's struggles and frustration and how God brought her through it. I'm not saying it didn't have anything to do with God, He is definitely present in the movie but not as clear as I thought it would be. And I knew this a given, but there was so much skin showing.
 So all that said Soul Surfer is an encouraging, clean film. I think it’s neat that it made it to the big screen with a good "with God and the love of family and friends all things are possible" message.

 

While I was out with my friend on saturday I scored Batman Begin's for 7 bucks.  bam. remember Inception for $2? ;)

 

for the most of the past week it has been raining. nonstop. and its been cold. cold and rain do not mix. although i do loving wearing hoodies. today the sun and blue sky decided to show up. thank you Lord! :) My only love about those kind of deary days is that it makes the house cozy and all I want to do is get some tea, blankets and watch a movie. That rarely happens and so when i did just that(minus the tea) last night after I worked out and took a shower, I enjoyed it ;)

 

Speaking of movies my mom and I recently watched Emma. I have seen it about 15 times(no joke) in the past year or so but my mom hadn't seen it and she liked it! its a movie that I can seriously watch OVER and OVER again and not get tired of it.

oh and just because i haven't posted a picture of him on here lately. here's a recent photo of my animal :) Its not a great quality one but its cute.
